Kaula ʻIli

Aloha all, I know it's been a long time since we've done one of these, but our video camera broke and it took us a bit of time to get a new one. Well, we're back. On this video we are featuring another song from the ʻĀina project. This song, Kaula ʻIli, is somewhat an homage my grandfather who passed just recently. On the album you will hear his voice telling stories of his days back on Molokai when he was a young man listening to beautiful Hawaiian Music.

Also on this video Trey finally shares a bit of information as to how he shapes his nails for the ʻUkulele and he speaks of complimenting other instruments by using a different style of finger picking that's not often associated with the ʻukulele.
