Yeah, I agree. I was just commenting on another blog on how this show today is a damn disgrace to Bill Bell's Legacy. I've caught some of the current episodes (not buy choice, stop watching in 2005) periodically over my sister's house. When I saw a few episodes with the plastic surgery BS (Lauren, Sarah, Shelia, Patty, whatever) I was like WTF? This is not Y&R or the late great Bill Bell's show anymore. These current writers have ruined this once great show big time.

The good days of character driven, realistic Y&R! What happened to good storytelling? These credits were great! I wish they were still around.

IMO, any Opening from early 90s and back is Classic.

This one was used from January 1990 to December 1991.
I have an updated version that was used from December 1991 to December 1993.

This was good, but I wouldn't call it classic. I think the classic intros had the pencil sketches of the characters.
