The word "systema" is a "system" for Russian. Actually, "systema" is a greek word. None of russian martial arts ever called "systema". The founder of modern russian martial arts is Aleksey Alekseevich Kadochnikov. After him, the modern russian martial arts was called "Systema Kadochnikova". One can find definition of "system" at Webster - regularly interacting or interdependent group of items forming a unified whole. That's it. Kadochnikov not only formed a unified whole, but also improved it much, based on physics laws.

  • This all works really well as long as you know its coming and your opponent is docile and moving at half speed and not launching other attacks. Oh and is kind enough to not shoot you.

  • Very Good Video!!! The techniques are very clear (showing a real & functional training) the " Systema Kadochnikova" seems to be very effective. My regards

  • @warren25smashy i can buy one like it for $15

  • Guy grabs end of my AK and pulls it across his body and before he rips it out of my hand. I might pull the trigger as he moves it across his body. Funny that most instructors when teaching disarming techniques tend to keep the muzzle AWAY from themselves.

  • dam imagine him pissed off at you

    what an awesome video

  • cheaper` to build a bayonet if you have the specs, material and, an grinder

  • Wow I'm sure they're happy about him sticking a bayonet in the floor like that.

  • i bought a bayonet like that one for $60
