  • Fuck Don Ohlmeyer, OJ Simpson is a murdering crook. Thanks for taking the greatest TV comedian off the air for your throat-slitting football butt-buddy, Don. Suck a cock in hell.

  • @fettsvett I'm right there with you. He's incredible...never gets old.

  • @zipsrule the one that turned him from observing general stupidity to being a puppet for the ultra right.

  • @hebber1961 What lobotomy?

  • Miller was good before his lobotomy.

  • There is nothing wrong with you, Mr. Fettsvett. Your sense of humor is completely intact. I'm no doctor but, your tests looks fine to me.

  • "You were f!cking with OJ too much - that's exactly why you were fired." - Damn straight, well done Mr. Miller!

  • @doomheart2001 (Cont 2-last one).

He didn't "dissect" Norm's comedy style at all. In fact, all the things you took as "dissections" were ultimately nothing more than reflections of Miller's need to feel "in control" (and I mean that in a psychological way, as in having a handle on his thoughts--feeling secure with the "sense" he's making of things, and comfortable of where they're going, and what he ought to do). Maybe Spade was a factor, but Dennis was too "in his head".

  • @doomheart2001 (Cont1)

They weren't. Norm's goal was to entertain with humor, Dennis' was (as the host) to fill (or avoid) "empty space", making sure the show remains interesting, while guiding and responding to the guest; the host's job is to avoid (or alleviate) discomfort (for the guests and audience), and engage with guests to make the guests as interesting as possible. Norm was doing his thing, but it could have been much better. Dennis "was in a weird place", and it held back the comedy.

  • @doomheart2001 - "Dennis SERVED ole Normy." I'd like to simply say "No he didn't," but I can't because your use of "SERVED" was used (unknowingly)--IE has meaning--from a biased context; your use of it expresses (your belief) that Dennis did something (or, with his actions, achieved something) "much better" than Norm (and this assumes that this "good" is the overall value, or goal, for the both of them--as if they were both playing the same game, and Dennis outplayed him).
