Are you serious? How is an 80s American pop song appropriate for the relationship between Rivers and Sassoon? This is wrong on so many levels not to mention anachronistic. Bryan Adams wasn't singing about the 'love' between two men. You might as well use Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You. And what's weirder still is that people seem to LIKE this youtube creation. It's horrible!

what an amazing video. it sums up my feelings about rivers & sassoon, completely!
we read regeneration at AS last year & totally fell in love with the characters. we even went on a pilgrimage to craiglockhart! (damn napier university knocking half of it down)

Thanks for commenting (again!) :-) I've been to Napier/Craiglockhart, although what was left of the original building was covered in scaffolding so we couldn't see much of it, but the war poets' section was interesting to see.
