True, There is no such thign as THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER, there is however BEST ATTACKER, DEFENDER, etc. Attackers can't do anything on their own, neither can defender or midfielders, etc. And even players like MESSI and RONALDO need people like Xavi and Ozil to make those nice passes.

first of all nobody in this generation of football can win games on their own. ronaldo doesnt win games on his own, if he did real madrid would crush barca like 5-0 since he also has players to help him. Messi is the best. end of story.

he isn't playing with barca for 10 years yet ;-) but if messi was really as good as everybody says he is he can win games on his own and with a team that isn't as good as barca. look at cristiano ronaldo, portugal team isn't very good but when he playes there he can win games on his own... messi needs to do that kinda stuff 2 before i think he is the best in the world.
