UNC Clef Hangers - 2nd Version: Because Of You

Someone, stop me, before I post again! This one is just plain fun - it's another UNC Clef Hangers cover of Ne-Yo's "Because Of You" with soloist Anoop Desai and help from Andrew Barker, performed for the first time in August 2007 at UNC-CH's 'Freshman Camp'. These are some brand new freshman, a few days before their first semester starts, entertained by the Clefs on their last night as a treat. So, the venue acoustics aren't great, no sound system, poor lighting, hotter than Hades, but look how much fun they all had - it may surprise you, but this traditional gig is one of the Clefs very favorite every year...

Haha...I'm older than Anoop so he wasn't there yet, but I remember the Clefs singing at CTOPS and just being IN LOVE...that would have been the summer before Brendan James Senior Year :)...

The Clefs are one of the most memorable parts of my UNC experience...

Last year, Brendan James came back and sang with the Clefs during their 30th Anniversary week - he sang Crazy Love with them backing him up, and then he did a concert with stuff off his brand new CD - The Day Is Brave... Very Cool. My vids of that concert (the Brendan stuff only) is up on his YT channel - bjamesmusic

TO CLEFHANGERFAN... please dont STOP posting videos!!! im pretty sure i speak for every fan here that we want more videos.. we adore them.. and I LOVE different versions of the songs!!! i would never get tired of any song they sing even if its the 100th version.. its always great!!! thanks for all the uploads..
