During the Bush/Cheney era, whenever it was convenient to invoke the name or a tape, purportedly, from Usama bin Laden, this was done. In fact this was done very recently under the Obama Administration. See Bin Laden Demands Europe Withdraw Afghanistan Troops. Today, these tapes are produced by the Western psyops program in order to gain the desired effect with the public in the US, Europe and sometimes elsewhere. The last purported video that was supposed to have been from bin Laden and which had been vetted by US intelligence was an obvious and proven fake. During the Bush Administration, tapes and videos were manufactured when they had a political need. These rogue American and British intelligence cells are still present, regardless of who is president. If a US military strike is required in Somalia, it is, generally, preceded with a Usama bin Laden tape. After more than six years of promises of capturing or killing bin Laden, the American people are tired of the charade and want its government to focus on what really matters. However, this entails confronting entities within and outside of America that seems to enjoy Americas misadventures, militarily.
