All this happened on the 4th of March 2010.

Hello. These posts (4 of them) are short videos of my first experience of my computer being attacked /or/ taken over by malware. The specific program that attacked me was Antivirus XP 2010, but if you search the net you'll see there are many variations of this program on the same theme.

I used Spybot Search & Destroy to regain some control of my system and then I ran Malwarebytes and then I followed the instructions found at the website listed below to completely remove the program from my system.

My XP OS was/is fully up to date, I was running Microsoft Security Essentials, which was fully up to date, and my Windows Fire Wall was turned on.

  • i need this where did u find it? i want to infect it in virtual machine

  • With regard to running Malwarebytes... if you change the file extension to ".com", it will allow it to open. This is how I have removed this malware on my system.

  • Please note, this software is a fake security software

  • I just got this nasty thing today and I am the works of removing it. Wish me the best of luck and thanks for the helpful video.

  • I was just infected with this, and it's allowing me to open Avast! I'm running a fullscan at the moment, but I have a feeling it won't detect anything :l
