i worked there in 1993 drilling blast holes.
i even seen a few blasts you feel the ground move. even if you are miles away. its a awesome feeling.

well said . Grande Cache is a beautiful place and the mine is just a small part of it. with out that road no one could see it with out the mine no one would be there.
Coal is not a good energy source. Yes, there is a significant demand for coal, in particular from China, however in 20 years when wars will be fought over water and ship loads of refugees start arriving on our shores due to the world's unrelenting addiction to fossil fuels (coal included)and the devastating effects caused on the planet then I would love to see what you have to say about 'the big picture'.

Yes we are heading for disaster! But we are all slaves to the banks and governments of the world so why don't you tell your MP or MLA to shut down all industry and we can all weave baskets and hang out on whyte ave smoking dope!

Do you use electricity or anything made from steels? Its nice to say a statement but not understand the big picture of energy and world demand for Coal.
