Yes. He's on the very front of the video too. That's Kozmo Kirby. He died of a seminoma tumor. Pekin-scovy hybrids are prone to cancers. Since muscovies are the only ducks not descended from mallards, I think the hybrids have some pretty bad genetics. He was a sweetheart.

Hello, how do you get your ducks to not be so scared of you? Your Pekin basically attacks you which is extremely cute. Tips on showing them you're their friend?

Approach them slowly and not from above. Get down to their level with treats and get a routine in place. If you sit outside on the ground each day quietly with treats at the same time, they will learn the routine and learn that you are safe. If you reach for them and try to grab them, they'll remember and not trust you. Good luck.

and wonderfull ducks! I also have scovies as pets, and when we dig for worms all together they are happy. my boys sit on my knees to get a cuddle, the eldest is 9 and the youngest 1 year.
