my first foamboard plane (all material purchased at target down the street from my house- now that's convenience). decided to make a vid since a few people messaged me and are interested how this plane is coming along (that's a surprise to me since i normally don't have anyone interested in the stuff i do). the plane is almost done and i'm just waiting for some servos in the mail to complete it. so what do you guys think? WILL IT FLY? i was hoping to make this a fast fast fast plane.
@GODsoccersk8football servos and radio systems are usually all compatible but I suggest getting them as a system to ensure it's compatibility. For example spectrum radio system, Grayson hobbies power system, and servos are usually universal. Go to the site I told you about. They will answer all your questions

@wildhover I'm sorry to bother you with another question again, but you are actually the only one who has answered my silly questions. Does it really matter if I buy the components of different brands, for example if I buy the servos and the motor in a store but I get the radio in another website of a different brand to try to fit my budget? will the components of different brands will match and work together? do u know? sorry. thanks.

@GODsoccersk8football no problem. I also suggest going to rcfoamfighters . com/blog/ to find s lot more really good information for beginners. Look at the brushless motor and ESC section to find the correct sized prop for your motor. You can also ask the other team members questions, they are just as friendly

@wildhover thanks a lot bro, and yeah, as u noticed I'm a beginner in this hobby, so I need some guidance cuz no one of my friends is into this so, it's something that I personally like, but hey again, I appreciate your answers.

@GODsoccersk8football this will only work with a brushless setup. There are 3 wires from the motor to your brushless ESC. Reverse any of the 2 wires and it will change the motor rotation appropriate to the direction that you are mounting it to your plane. If you are new to this hobby, I suggest going to rcgroups.com to learn more. They helped me out a lot

@wildhover how do I reverse the wires? connected in the opposite outlet you mean?

@GODsoccersk8football the front of the propeller should always towards the front of the plane whether it is a pusher or a puller prop design. you don't really have to convert a motor from a pusher to a puller, just reverse the wires so that it turns in the appropriate direction. the only time I have to convert any motor is when the shaft is in the back (i.e. helicopter motors). you will see that in every video I have, my propeller is set up the same way.

did u have to change the motor from turnergy to pusher or not? cuz I see that the propeller is backward and not in the front?
