University Junction, Minnesota: Volume 1

University Junction in Minneapolis, Minnesota is one of many hot spots in the Twin Cities area. University is located in north Minneapolis just south of BNSFs Northtown and 35th Avenue Yard and adjacent to Canadian Pacifics Shoreham Intermodal facility. The Great Northern and Northern Pacific once owned these tracks. Canadian Pacifics Shoreham intermodal facility and trackage westward from University are original Soo Line territory. Along with a variety of BNSF and CP trains, many transfer moves from the Union Pacific and Canadian National come through University daily. Many multiple train movements are common here. In this volume, we capture action at University in the winter months of January to March of 2009.

Lots of different locomotives from EMD and GE fill the interest of every railfan on this program. BNSF, CP, SOO, NS, CSX, UP and CN power provide the colorful array of paint schemes.
