Here's the third of the the recent Institute for Justice videos I contributed music to. As usual, the full score will be available at www.sean-malone.com/news.html.
This is another licensing case, like teaching Yoga in Virginia, where the State of Texas has imposed unnecessary and rather ridiculous fines & requirements on people just trying to scratch out a living in this already tough economic climate. The Institute for Justice folks are officially heroes of mine and I'm really proud to be working with them on things like this. No matter how local or small the project appears to be, it's the little victories against onerous state power that make the biggest difference to ordinary people.
Great video!.
The problem is that the government long ago shoved salons down the slippery slope of coercive intervention.
They already have the gun of government pressed against their necks forcing them to pay for licensing and bs training, and they are the ones asking the government to do the same thing to the threaders.
In a sad way, I can't blame them. They have a gun to their necks, so they want to keep the playing field level.
Government just creates chaos and destruction
