I had to buy new hatch shocks because the OEM shocks could not hold up the hatch with the Nismo spoiler when it was cold outside.

It was 60 degrees when I filmed the video...not extremely cold, but cold enough that the OEM hatch shocks would not hold the hatch up.

  • Nice! Ipicked some up off of Z-1 motorsports

  • the hatch shocks are a common problem on all the Z's

  • what do you mean? you dont like it when the hatch closes on your head? or the fact you need to run high octane? how about the gas tank, how many times do you go back and forth to open it?

  • I bought a set on eBay from this seller invotekken, perfect products.

  • Curious: Can you install the old rear shocks on the hood?

  • hey uhm if you take the weight out from the hatch you dont need those new springs thats what i did and i have the saame spoiler

  • were did you get the shocks from?
