@anonymousone2011 it is not worshiping it is veneration, through which out you are asking someone as a person (saint) to pray for you, you've got a misconception of the terms, and ultimately the practicality of it all.

@pepamethodman I used to think that but you've got to admit they do not keep the Sabbath and the symbols used by them are quite scary. I recently watched some Youtube videos of Orthodox priests and these scary demonic symbols were everywhere like the upside-down crosses and serpants. Plus they have all these "saints" that people come to worship at the chirch and ask for help from some ailment, or for help in travels. That's Paganism. I'm sorry but I'd rather not go down that path.

@HarlanLovestone most are vegetarians . Also most health information at the turn of the 20th century is considered absurd, but many doctors have been astounded by what SDA co-founder Ellen White's information about diet and health said 100 years ago , because it lines up with what doctors say today as far as living a healthy lifestyle! this is all fact. Is the SDA church perfect? No But i'd suggest you do your research more. The way I see things as long as its in the bible I'm for it.

@HarlanLovestone As for food, you should also realize that meat does kill. As soon as God allowed man to supplement his diet with meat, man started to die sooner. heck, i love hamburgers!!! But I know i need to get off them. Do you realize the stuff they put in our food today? Even in our veggies? But usually veggies are still cleaner. @HarlanLovestone The only thing Jesus rebelled against on the sabbath was the 1000's of unnecessary laws the scribes and pharisees created to uphold the sabbath in order to try to work their way into heaven. that made jesus angry cause works without faith is dead! If they truly loved God they would naturally keep the sabbath and his commandments, but they were hypocrites. They were too busy trying to look good rather than being good.

@HarlanLovestone before the crucifixtion , because there was no time to annoit him after the cross and prepare him for burial before sunset that good friday. I've also heard some say Jesus worked and performed miracles on sabbath to show it was done away with. This is also wrong. There is nothing wrong with doing Godly work on the sabbath, but mans work should be avoided. One can heal, minister, preach, visit the sick and jailed, save someone in a burning building, etc- that's godly work.

@HarlanLovestone So after all that and writing the sabbath as a law  on stone with the other 9 commandments, do you really believe that God would change the sabbath to sunday??? He sure would owe a huge apology to all the jews he ever punished for breaking his sabbath in the past. I know some try to say that because jesus rose and met with his followers on sunday that means the sabbath changed. Jesus rose on sunday because he didnt want to disturb the sabbath. he was annoited with oil

@HarlanLovestone the weekly calendar has not changed since Genesis. There have always been only 7 days in a week. Look up your history. There is no where in the bible that God or Jesus says" the sabbath is not sunday- the sun god's day!" God does not change. God allowed the jews to be devastated and desolated ( before the coming of Christ) because the jews stopped worshiping on the sabbath and began to wander after heathen gods.

@HarlanLovestone  I just consider myself a person trying to live a christian life. With that said, I have been exposed to other churches to a small degree and I have found the SDA church to be the most truthful and that they always go back to teh bible with their doctrine. You mention not eating meat and worshiping on saturday. i hope you do realize that God's sabbath is still sunset friday to sunset saturday. man changed teh sabbath and there is more than enough evidence to show this.
