Well-known political journalist and author William Greider, currently the national affairs correspondent for The Nation, speaks with the United Steelworkers at the USW's 2007 Rapid Response conference in Washington, D.C., about how a new political landscape is expanding the globalization debate. Greider says globalization for years was glamorized by business as the ticket to cheap price tags and big profits, but now is now being labeled a raw deal for the United States by some corporate types and others.
US is currently ruling the world with it's neo-colonism. It's influence won't last long if it doesn't start doing something better. Many people are getting aware of this day by day. I accept Greider is wise man, though this is my first time to see him and his interview.

I am shocked to see only 3 previous comments and 484 plays for this video. If this was instead, some half naked bimbo rubbing toothpaste on her knees it would have probably gone viral. It is scary to think we are too brainless to care about our own future quality of life.
Mr Greider says it all depends on the response by the people.
If that is the case, our future is looking bleak at best. Those whom care deserve better...

For pjperalta: Thank you for this comment. I saw Greider yesterday in the interview with Bill Moyers. He recognizes what is happening. Not too many people seem to recognize what is going on. I would love to talk to you about this subject. I have trouble finding anyone who knows something about it.

He warned Americans and the world about what was happening with money creation in the hands of a few private bankers. His books "The Trouble with Money" and "Secrets of the Temple" were prophetic of present
enslavement of peope through debt and interests.

I have been a fan of William Greider since he wrote for Rolling Stone. Good interview.
