Rappelz Assassin Impact and DaggerV.Sword Discussion

The purpose of this video is to practically apply several ongoing debates on the Rappelz Forums. The first of which is: basic damage superiority "Daggers" VS "Swords." It's been determined that skill damage will inevitably be better with swords, but as far as basic attacks go - Daggers hold the high-ground. Since Daggers scale the same with swords, each rank, I took two near-identically statted assassins, removed all gear, and applied the argument. Every test yielded the same outcome - and be aware that the % ratio increases when buffs are applied to daggers; that improve attack speed. My next test was "Is Assassin impact effected by Attack Speed, or does it execute independently?" The outcome is blatant, that it is in fact effected by design and in the skill's description of what sinpact actually is. I hope this helps, and enjoy in HD =).

if i use basic attacks more than skills, around when should i should to dirk? i switched to swords at r3, and i was going to plan to continue that at r4

If you're still rank 3, experiment with both while they're cheap! Run a few DPs with a dagger composite build, and a sword one. You'll get a good feeling for what you like best, over time =]. Everyone's going to have different tastes and standards, and methods.

u need to compare the time it takes to kill a mob (same mob) with full gear and own buffs.

Swords ll win for sure, especially if u use skills. ;)
