I like it too. It sounds like you mixed a little bit of Chrono Cross's music style in this arrangement.

were you doing a variation on the melodic theme of the piece? this seems like somebody other than uematsus take on the piece.there were at least 12 different motifs and 3 different chord progressions. not saying its bad, but if you do moch versions, you should include that in the description.

I love this version. I've dusted off my guitar after taking a couple years break (I took lessons for 8 years), and I have to say your tabs and arrangements have really inspired me to take classical style guitar seriously again. I really appreciate the videos and especially the tabs! Thank you!

@kabukibear Oh I see. I never thought of it like that when I typed it. I don't play the guitar myself. One of these days I want to get my hands on some composing software because I do have a few remixes in my head. Particularly for an old game called Illusion of Gaia. I have been thinking about an electric guitar version of this with a similar arrangement. So far I can only 'hear' 0:40 - 1:00 though.
Fantastic arrangement, been listening for years! I'm curious about your personal fingering choice for it though, as the other performance video of this has the guitarist using some odd fingerings. Do you use your thumb to hold E string 1st fret or your index finger (measures 1, 5, 25, 29, etc) ? Also, how are you strumming on measures 49-64? Do you keep your thumb planted and just roll your fingers, or do you lift your entire hand and only hit the 4 strings and replace it to hit the bass note?

@epperj I use my index finger, as if I were playing power chords. As for the strumming, I lift my entire hand after I pluck the bass note and strum with my fingers, replacing the them when I need to play the bass notes again.

I like this but I definitely wouldn't call it hard.

@TragedyAnne Well, comparing the two version I have this is the harder. Can't wait to hear a recording from you!

@kabukibear No need to be defensive mate. I never said it was bad. In fact I clearly said that I like it. It's just not what anyone who listens to hard rock or metal would call hard.

@TragedyAnne Oh, no I guess typing it sounded wrong, that wasn't a sarcastic comment there at the end. I thought you were saying it wasn't hard in that you play acoustic guitar and can easily play it. The excitement over hearing another person record this was genuine.
