This full course is made up of 49 videos, and is available to our subscribers at www.SonicAcademy.com

Description of the course:
This course shows you how to create an electro house style track, as made popular by acts such as Fedde Le Grand.

We cover a vast amount in this course, from the new Groove Agent drum machine to the new synths and reverb units, such as the Prologue and Reverence. Spanning a total of Fourty Nine videos, we give you an in depth look at the ins and outs of Cubase 5 and how to create a finished production in it.

You are taken from the first steps of programming in your drums, bassline and guitar parts right through to the end where we take an in depth look at Arrangement!

In our arrangement section we make use of a helper file included with the tutorial that shows us a basic track arrangement. We create a few more synth parts and string lines, make use of our reverbs to add some space and then finish up the track with some FX sounds!

  • i flaged this as child abuse

  • @aoaiau

use VST's? why use stock samples??

  • this sound like the atari version of fedde le grand ....i got cubase 5 and the sound quality of the sounds are really poor is a really good software but still got to look around for good quality of sound to make a beat like this to sound good ...

  • @10director Hahahaha, I was just about to say: "This has got to be the most boring-ass track I have ever wasted my time listening to." This tutorial probably isn't that useful. Just mess around in Cubase and try to learn it on your own. You'll learn a LOT that way. I started in Reason, then moved on to Logic, then Pro Tools, but now Cubase is my DAW of choice. There are TONS of VSTs; get the ones you think you'll really need and get crackin'!

  • thanks for showing us how to make a beat.... oh wait?

  • all i learned was how to spell sssssooooonnnnniiiiic :P

    sssss ooooo nnnnn iiiii c

  • check this song, it was made with cubase 5 !! Daniele Naxos Sunset

  • does Cubase 5 come with a sound/sample bank(kicks, snares, synths) or must the user import/buy them elsewhere?

  • s-s-s-s-S-sssssucks
