America has a new Woody Guthrie.

His name is James Mcmurtry.

Ramblin Jack is a serious treasure. I don't think there ever was a musician who kept it real as long as he has. He has always been about the music and the experience, never about money or popularity. A role model for any true artist.

I've sung this song hundreds of times, and each time it's been a tribute to this man and Woody. So nice to see this!

Has anyone on here seen Marty Stuart live in the Spring or Summer of 2007? If so, could you possibly click on my name and give me a list of songs that he played. This will determine whether or not I go see him anytime soon.

Thanks so much!

An American legend. Thanks so much.
Everyone should know the story and songs of this special man.
Ramblin Jack is far above top shelf.
