Everyone needs to get themselves some kind of a stealth video or at least an audio recorder. Something that you can keep on you at all times and looks innocuous because they'll lie, cheat and make stuff up and unless you have some kind of total proof like a recording, you can really get screwed. Install stealth cams or voice recorders in your home or car in case the cops come to your door, you get pulled over by the cops, etc.

@64Albere Thanks for your comments. Just beware that in many states, they're trying to claim that recording the cops either with a video cam or audio device is "wiretapping" which is totally bogus and has been thrown out by the supreme court countless time, but they're still trying to get people in trouble based on it as they don't want anyone recording them, but they want to record you 24x7. Just make sure they don't see you doing it, hence the stealth part of the procedure.
