This is pretty much what every night is for me. It may not look exciting to most but spending time with the family is fun for me. Pretty much just turned on the camera and let it roll while we did our thing.

Mealtime Facts:
1. Eating dinner together every night keeps the doors of communication open.
2. It's the perfect time to show your kids that they are your priority.
3. Sitting across the table is where and when you can find out more about your childrens likes, dislikes, and daily life.
3. Connecting with your children, even at mealtimes, helps direct children toward positive activities and behavior, reducing the likelihood that they will get involved with alcohol, tobacco, and/or illegal drugs.
4. Teens who rarely have family dinners are three-and-a-half times more likely to have abused prescription drugs or an illegal drug other than marijuana.2
5. Girls who have five or more meals a week with their families are one-third less likely to develop unhealthy eating habits, which can range from skipping meals to full-fledged anorexia or abusing diet pills.
Mealtime Conversation:
1. High Low - ask everyone about the high of their day, and the low.
2. Ask everyone what they'd like for dinner some other night of the week.
3. Schedule the evening activity (like game night or a movie)

Can't argue with that. Eating meals together as a family is important. All the better if everyone pitches in. Nothing wrong with eating in front of the TV some too though. So long as everyone's there.

The key is family and communication :) It just so happens having setting time aside, even if just for a meal, really helps both....
Thanks for watching, Blink!

He's most proud of that trick *laughs* We always ate at the table growing up. Granted, we have nights were we eat in the living room or go out.. but most of the time (over 90%) this is pretty much my night :)
