@Way2Spirited It's even worse in Britain where the appaloosa has been replaced by the British Appaloosa, which is no relation at all to the American one but sadly the British aren't aware of that. I spent 20 years trying to live my dream of buying an appaloosa but all I could find were warmbloods with spots I was shocked when I found I was able to register my mare as a British appaloosa as I bred her myself and know shes a danish warmblood cross british spotted pony.
@nags2bitches I agree. It's a shame how people are basically creating spotted quarter horses. The true appaloosa breed is being made extinct because of this breeding practice and a lack of respect for the other qualities of the breed besides the coloring. Not only are they pretty in color but they are extremely intelligent, fast and nimble.
I don't care if these are "real" Appaloosas or not. I am crazy for the color! Leopard Appaloosas are my greatest weakness. Thanks for uploading this beautiful video!
@Jessers4Ever Why dont you post your ignorant comments elsewhere.

@lagoonabluemicky My favorites too! I paint horses...and the appaloosa's are by far the most interesting and fun to paint.
