One of the major differences between the beginner and the intermediate workouts is the number of times you'll be working out during the week. When you jump up to intermediate you'll start training 3x a week.
Some of you may still think the workouts are too easy, but trust me; these workouts can be as hard as you make them. Alter the exercises or add more repetitions. For example, instead of a regular push-up you can change it to a decline push-up and you instantly have a more difficult exercise.
The great thing about these TT exercises is that they are very flexible to accommodate the level of the workout user. Plain and simple, the intermediate workouts should not be easy, so if you find that they are, then you need to make the proper adjustments!
Here's a safety tip for those training out at home. Always go one rep short of failure.
Looking for those sweet six-pack abs too? Well, forget the hundreds of crunches and sit-ups that everyone else tells you that you should do. In TT workouts you'll find ab exercises that place less strain on your back and are more effective at getting you results.
Stability ball jackknifes, stability ball rollout, mountain climbers, and spiderman climbs are some of the exercises I use to focus on building up endurance in the abdominals.
One last tip for you; if you can't do chin-ups, pull-ups, or even inverted rows, then you can always substitute a dumbbell alternative in its place; such as a dumbbell pullover in place of the pull-up.
