"Going Home" arranged by Geoff Kingston, (Largo from Dvorak's New World Symphony) and "The Skye Boat Song" are now, by popular request, published by SafeMusic Limited. Arranged for Bagpipes and Concert Band these much-loved melodies can be performed as a short medley or independently. Imaginatively scored, the setting of "Going Home" has the feel Verdi's 'Va, pensiero' with a gently rocking rhythm leading to a dramatic climax. "The Skye Boat Song", arranged by Ian Macpherson, again is beautifully scored and compliments this traditional Scottish Slow Air with creative underpinning harmony and rhythmic nuances. These new and original settings are ideal for bands of all grades and ideal for concert or outdoor performances.
