haha, the beetle won because it hooked and the porsche didn't! Everyone knows it... there's a bunch of 8 & 9 second (1/4mi) beetles out there these days. They're purpose-built drag cars. That Porsche can do many things well.

Haha! Ofc a fully prepped VW can do good since they can put out more than 800HP in a 500Kg car? :) Still.. that Porsche is an extreme machine with a little worse HP/weight ratio.. but is far more beautiful to look at.

Have seen other views of this car on M/T drags, those fill the wheel wells way too much to not be the same race tires and put that much power down! Still fast either way.
