I'm going to eschew words like "soul" and "passion" because that's a very trite argument. Instead, I'll just say this. The F40 is a proper supercar that is raw and uncivilized.
The F430 is a plush, boring supercar built for the likes of snot nosed "new money" twerps, rappers and Kevin Federline.

I sometimes wonder if Ferrari should have focused on simply producing various versions of the F40...and then kept refining each version year after year. Mind you...I'll never be able to afford any Ferrari...new or used...but I still wonder.

The 430 Scuderia is cool but to me the F40 will always have seniority. I wonder how awesome the 458 Scuderia is gonna be.

Wow the f 40 s very very sexy car and I love that mix ferrari engine turbo sound like at 2,08. SuperCoool!

Than I must suppose a supercar could be usable for its performance only on tracks where it has no chances against last supercar generation as Zonda, Enzo or Carrera Gt. Even if used as grand tourer It shows limits due to bad autonomy (high consumption and not big tank fuel capacity).
