Part 1
A cranky old promotional video for Dinosaur Adventure Land in Pensacola, FL. I noticed there are a lot of clips of this circulating. This is the whole video in its entirety, split into four parts.
I actually live in close residence to this theme park. Will I ever go? Only if they don't expect me to pay the "suggested" admission. For seven bucks, I could buy some worthwhile literature -- increase my knowledge, rather than relish in all the misinformation. I had bought this tape for 25 cents. Wasteful, but listening to the good "Doctor" (sorry; either stop using it every chance you get, or obtain an accredited degree) go on about a topic in which he is plainly ignorant? It's quite good entertainment.
What's sad is that they have to lure the kids in with a theme park to peddle this stuff to them. How about we send the kids to school, have them learn REAL science, and learn to measure reality OBJECTIVELY. You can't overturn the veracity of a science by alienating children from a scientific community through the establishment a conspiracy theory supported with evidence which is dubious at best, but more often than not outright farce and deceptive. You teach kids the scientific method, you teach kids the knowledge accumulated by the scientific method, and they go on to become scientists who can go on to establish, confirm, and abrogate scientific ideas. The scientific community will continue to make a difference, whether your children are a part of that community or not.
That being said, I give you a promotional video for Dinosaur Adventure Land:
"This video shows what kids of all ages will see and do at the most exciting place on earth! See our Creation Museum, hands on science centers and very unusual theme park. This is the place where dinosaurs and the Bible meet."
I invoke free and fair use. This stuff isn't copyrighted. Seriously, it's just a promo. Relax.
Why do people get so angry with Dr. Ken Hovind? He is a great man, don't give me any of this diploma mill conspiracy bullshit! Creationism exposes science for what it really is, government funded lies - come on people, they've being lying to us for centuries! Moon landing anyone?

first Dr. Ken Hovin has a degree second Evolution is a religion you have to imagine the big bang and imagine billions of years between species these are to religions fighting fiercely each other.... God (imaginary friend) vs Evolution ( adult fairy tale -not real science)

@telectronicguy Kent Hovind went to Patriot Bible University, an acknowledged diploma mill.
It is irrelevant, but you don't have to 'imagine' the Big Bang; it has evidence in support. And you don't have to 'imagine' millions of years of evolution; we have evidence that is used to figure out precisely what happened.
Postdictions are commonly made in science, and just because you have to gather evidence to make them doesn't mean they are not scientific. Is the Vesuvius eruption a fairy tale?

why reject the truth and accept a lie...dinosaurs are real and a few discoveries prove that some are still around, yet evolutionists for years taught us they were extinct...you want to believe in evolution, but it makes no sense and is full of circular speech
phoenixangel1120 1 year ago
@phoenixangel1120 Science is rooted in both deduction and induction. I can see how you'd mistake it for "circular speech," but it is clearly not. You're right about one thing, though. Since taxonomic classification works downwards, and birds are descended from dinosaurs, you could say that dinosaurs, in an uncommon understanding of the word, are still around. I don't see how finding out dinosaurs (in the common understanding of the word) are "still around" overturns evolutionary theory anyway.
