  • Thanks for your help, however,

    I was always taught that the protons never move. When the electrons are being touched with over electrons, they get repelled. But I'm fairly sure that the electrons on the rod would come to the edge of the rod and stick to the ball, however, I don't believe the protons move at all.

    Could you clarify this for me, please?
