Hurricane Katrina devastated the U.S. Gulf Coast communities five years ago, leaving behind ruins that persist to this day. But at least one of Mother Nature's iconic creations survived intact, and still inspires.

  • ITS PATHETIC!!! THE WEALTIEST NATION IN THE WORLD CANNOT REBUILT ONE CITY WHERE IS MONEY FOR A WAR ALWAYS AVAILABLE...

    SHAME ON YOU YANKEES!!!

  • Fuck New Orleans, they scammed the government. A natural disaster (read hurricane) did not destroy New Orleans, a levy that was poorly maintained for 25 years did. Please kindly pay back the federal government the $16.7 billion dollars from the NATURAL DISASTER RELIEF FUND back, so a state that didn't piss away it's money can recover. Besides, Miami or Las Vegas are way better places for Mardi Gras.

  • Check out Major Love, Armand Manzy! This is what he is trying to get across.

  • @whatever0481 All caps = serious business?

  • @whatever0481 A waste of time and money rebuilding a city below sea level.

  • @putodude Yeh. We've been in the red since the Viet War was ending. We really started borrowing on a foreign level when the great patriot Reagan got in and borrowed from N.African, Middle Eastern and Chinese banks to fight his war on Communism. Now Red China owns us. Russia is basically solvent, and we are a half starved madman with a lot of guns.

  • I live in the province of Québec, Canada and, not as severe as it was in USA, we had our share of troubles with Katrina. My ex girlfriend and I moved into our house a few days after this horrible storm devastation. But we got the remains of it so when we moved in our house, it was raining like crazy with the wind blowing at ultra speed. So Katrina has been part of my life. But I'm not complaining because you guys in southern USA had a rough time with that bitch.

  • lol? the usa one of the most wealthy nation in the world get ur facts right kid were 14 trillion in debt
