Here is a little Quick Take while we were shooting the opening sequence for our documentary The Board Of Education. We decided to go with the Canon 5D MK ii over the Sony FS100. I wanted the shallow DOF and small form factor. We also used the Sony Nex5N for some 60P stuff. We only used two lights for the entire shoot. An Arri 300W tungsten light and a Switronix Torch LED for a little fill. I wanted an ultra moody and dark feel to the opening sequence. We also tried out the new Lomo Kino 35mm hand crank motion picture camera. We will post the results in a few. Thanks for checking us out. More Deets at www.wideopencamera.com
