Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung - Ba-Ba-Bankrobbery

"Ba-Ba-Bankrobbery" is a song by the Austrian comedy band Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung (EAV for short). The song is a translation of one of their most famous songs: "Ba-Ba-Banküberfall"! The English version peaked at #63 in the UK singles chart in 1986. But I think they weren't very fluent in English, because the German lyrics are way better than the English lyrics.

but she didn't lift a finger.

Ehrlich gesagt finde ich den englischen Text fast genauso gut wie den deutschen. Und der blöde deutsche Akzent verleiht dem ganzen einen ganz speziellen Charme.
