STENCIL CITY by KISS KISS @ SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS 2009

An on-site art installation of MAMMOTH light towers showcased the work of well loved Australian and international artists: Ben Frost, Anthony Lister, Numskull, Bennett, Rico, Kiss Kiss, Meggs, Kid Zoom, James Jirat Patradoon, Gaetane, Cauchi, Anton Benois, Jaxie Yael, Atronic Lukasz Karluk, Teazer, Mini Graff , Miss Link, Creon, SKEL and Kelsey Brookes.

Stencil City is a modular streetscape constructed from images sourced from the artists, as well as strolls through the streets of Sydney, New York and Tokyo. Images have also been reworked from pieces created by graffiti artists for the popular Timebomb interactive graffiti installation. Timebomb by Kiss Kiss and Lukasz Karluk appeared at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, May 2009.

Special highlights are Ben Frost images, fresh from his last show at Brooklynite Gallery in NY, new artwork from Anthony Lister, the Worlds End crew, and the international flavor from our art friends Kelsey Brookes (USA), RICO (Germany), Gaetane (Belgium/NY) and Atronic (Canada).
