In what is considered as his debut in the international stage as the country's Chief Executive, the Fifteenth President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency, President Benigno Simeon 'Noynoy' Aquino III delivers his statement before the sixty-fifth General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

President Aquino emphasized the needed achievement of the eight Millennium Development Goals in the next five years, the empowerment of private enterprise in order to boost the country's economy and the importance of spreading the great message of People Power across the globe to win the battle against human inequality.

Now, in 2010, it her only's son turn to do so - TWENTY-FOUR YEARS AFTER.

How destiny is beautiful. President Noynoy Aquino did it so well - I am so grateful that I campaigned for such a great individual and am proud to have him as my President.

Keep it up, P-Noy. Make us proud! :-)

PNoy is good, although still early to tell. I'm not pro US but where are those people in the streets always condemning the US now that they gave us less than half a billion dollars as aid? shame on those people. instead of making noise just help, ok?

Iba si Ninoy eh. Baliw sa mga Pilipino. Ewan ko lang kay Pnoy. Still can't see that same fervor in him. I have yet to see him live this same passion: "The Filipinos are worth dying for."

I still need to see his example of living a life of compassion. I have yet to see. It's got to be more than words. I'm 19 years old and all of my generation are expectant of him, that him, being able to sit on power is not just a result of hype of popularity. :)

@pilipinasmabuhay100 huh kahit si pinoy president ala rin magagawa yan..turing natin sa mga magulang nila bayani pero wala din nmang naiambag sa kabuhayan ng pilipinas..ala kwenta rin yan....di ako humahanga ...mas magaling dyan si Carlos p romulo nag sppeech sa UN for 3 hours extemporaneously non-stop..yun ang magaling...
