Kyle Hogan from Boston, Massachusetts. This question is directed to all the candidates for the CNN / YouTube Republican Debate.

"In the early 1900's, the United States made a shift from an Agrarian to an Industrial economy, a shift that was made successful by a leadership that understood the need for a change in its educational system to support the skills of its workers, resulting in not only mandating but in funding a high school education for all Americans. Companies today are dealing with the need to provide extensive training to entry-level employees because what they're learning in school simply isn't enough. My question is, as president, will any of you be prepared to do what's necessary for education to ensure that future Americans have the skills they need to be competitive in a knowledge market?"

This question was redone to meet the debate's timing guideline. The new question can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYFKX7N4m0E
