"Under the Bridges of Paris" on Piano Accordion

This is me playing "Under the Bridges of Paris" on my Weltmeister 96-bass 4-voice Piano Accordion.

My main interest in life is self-playing mechanical street (barrel) and fairground organs (see my profile page), and it was this interest that lead me to buy an old accordion at a car boot sale two years ago, intending to use the reeds within for an organ project. However, curiosity got the better of me and I thought I'd better have a go at teaching myself to play the thing. I've avoided ever having to learn the piano as I have a self-playing 'pianola' player piano (see my other videos), so thought the challenge of playing the accordion (by ear) would be a worthwhile one. Two years and an upgraded instrument later and you can hear the result!

Wish people would stop "interpreting" classics and just played them the way they are supposed to be played..

it is allways beter to go a bit slowlyer if you're not quite secure in your playing, that way you can have more control upon you playin: this way it seems somehow like you are eating parts of the song with going faster or going slower.....
