My favorite Le Mans racecars are the McLaren F1 GTR (1997 verison), the BMW V12 LMR.

The BMW V12 LMR has to be one of the sexiest lemans car.

so sad, this engine can produce 800hp but air restrictors make it produce only 580hp. from 1980 to 1990 some cars could produce in excess of 1000hp. we are downgrading cars with all these limits
