Side note: Put something in place to hold the steering wheel still while the rack is out. When tightening the steering linkage 10mm bolt push down on the linkage while tightening the bolt if you don't you will destroy the threads trust me I know

  • Don't try this technique on a 93 Civic DX. I've been dicking around trying to slide the rack out for well over and hour. The rest of the info is good but there wasn't enough space to drop the rack. I really wish there was.

  • gud video just finished doing ek civic but drop the exhaust from just below manifold flang was easyer for me as my bolts were preety crap and drop gear box linkage all done gud tipss from ya bro sweet

  • good vid on my 2000 civic the manual says drop the chassis stiffener which is like 5 bolts to get that steering gear out. Hopefully i wont have to do that anything soon. Right now i got steering rack boots and lower ball joints to replace.

  • how come my rack wont drop out.....i took off the exhaust ans it still wont budge...
