I am sure I am not the first to point this out, but you should have gotten life before you went to level 2. It is really easy to get. A little extra effort, and you can get the hammer before starting the level and then you will be able ot obtain the down thrust which make the skulls easy to kill. I perfer to play it by only obtaining the level items and not passing the level then when you go to pass the level you will get more of a point boast when you do pass it.
