  • This is from a DVD? I sure would like to know where I can get it. Chris Duarte absolutely slays me every time. He is the most amazing, funkiest, soulful player around and I just can't get enough. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Not really sure it came from a 8mm maybe?

We have converted it dvd to get rid of a bunch of tapes.

  • Hehe I always like Jimmy Way.

Some of the best shows I saw was with him.

  • If this wasn't the best CDG line-up, than I don't know what it. These 3 just totally rocked together. I miss Jason, and John. Chris seemed so comfortable with them.

  • This was Jason's third gig to.

Only reason I know is cause Chris says later in the night.

  • This is kind of a higher quality rip from the DvD. So watching this in normal mode will make it sound and look terrible.

    Thanks

  • holy shit those frets look huge at the beginning !!!!!

he uses the biggest frets you can...get...

    thats crazy stuff.....

haha...great song, great playing, as usual....

    Jon Jordan !!!! (bassist)

  • Really..... I respect him both as a person and a musician,,, but he's wasn't for Chris. Chris's punctual specifically timed style of playing requires the same from his drummer, and Jimmy's off beat stuff just didn't sound good at all with Chris. I don't mean this as a downer to his playing nor ability, but it just wasn't for Chris. You are only the second person I've EVER heard say they liked him with Chris. But to each there own. I'd like to hear Jimmy with his own band with his style.

  • Yeah jason was great. I first saw them in 95 when Frosty was the drummer. I always like Eric Tatuarka (sp)? He added weird loops and stuff to the mix

  • You could tell it was early. The first time I saw the band live was in March 2001 with Jason and Robert Kerns. By that time Jason was an unstoppable force. You could just tell he was meant for Chris. His playing just accented every little note Chris played so well.
