  • One day to shoot and edit? That doesn't seem possible. Well you should be a value to anyone that hires you. I like it, myself.

Sorry to you got flamed. This is the world we live in and the risk we take when sharing our work publicly.

A good lesson in learning to not take things personally. Brave of you to leave the insult up without deleting it.

Three questions. What did you use to do the flashes? Nice. Nattress plug-in? Who did the music? Where's Guilford?

  • Yeah, it was a last minute descision. i had the weekend to make something for college. we filmed it all on the saturday and then edited late sunday night. the flashes were a plug in, but i cant remember where it was from because it was while back and guildfords about 45 minutes from london (england). i didnt wanna take the comments down, its funny how far he went with it, obviously has the perfect attitude for the industry.

  • Good! Why is everyone critising it though??

  • thanks for the comment, not everyone is crticising it, everyone apart from one user 'atrosecret' has crticised it, not even criticism tho, he said i should die. haha what a joke. cheers

  • I cant beleive people are so judgmental about this , its your freedom to experiment as much as you like and to share it with whoever wants to watch. Its people like those who have been making negative comments that alienate art and makes people frightened to explore and share.

  • I feel your film was pleasant, heartfelt, and poignant.

"Pretentious" is a highly overpopularized and overused word. These internet wankers who wouldn't have the courage or audacity to be so curt about your film in real life. There is nothing wrong with what you did, and while there are some things I would do differently, your creation is valid, and lovely. Disregard the naysayers.

  • i enjoyed this! thanks for sharing, i believe it is important to see what the 'world' has to say. you never know what you will get but hopefully something can be learned whether comments are good, bad, or plain ugly. keep it up

  • how did you do the part from 0:30 to 0:39 ??

  • Did you consider perhaps placing the bag on your torso instead of your head? That's what I would have done. I like it though. I made a film kind of like this, yet it consisted of me breaking down a wall while dressed like a friendly cat. I had this huge smile the whole time, and the wall was completely destroyed.

  • What is the song you used in the background? I like it-the music & the whole composition, good job!

  • Very nice. I wish avant-garde amateur films like this were shown in cinemas.

  • On my youtube channel i've just uploaded Part One of Six short film/ experimental film series from UK we're making.. would love to have some feedback we're new to this and are inspired from videos such as these :D good luck also with other videos you creat keep up the good work!! x

  • Good job but, @ 2:18 why would anyone want to play with crazy guy with a paper bag over his head?

  • I really enjoyed your film without much reasoning. Wasn't feeling the music at first but it caught on. Enjoyed everything but putting the mask on the camera.

  • big up

  • I think The Shins film and edit their music videos in one day for their record company too. You didn't get sued by Burger King for the bag did you?
