People tend to underestimate Wyman's contribution to The Stones.
Especialy in the early days when Jagger milked their 'bad boy ' press to the limit,he was an integral part of their image.
Untill '76 he looked just as cool as
Jagger & Richards.
He got a lot of slag from the 'Glimmer Twins' for being too straight.
Yet,Wyman was wise, for him it was
Sex & Rock'n'Roll.
He has to be given credit for not wanting to be part anymore,of the cabaret act ,that is The Rolling Stones today.

Poor ol' Brian Jones. So sad. I read somewhere that Jimmy Page was one of the few people who came to visit him after being kicked out of the Stones. . .

HANG FIRE = BILL

@matias1962 BUt everything Bill played was much superior and totally underrated. Hot Stuff, the whole 1981 tour or any tour really. He was the perfect bass player. Every single song he played on.

I only saw the Stones once - when Brian Jones was still with them in the days of "Sweet Lady Jane" , and I will never forget the impression I got of Bill Wyman , who I had never paid much attention to before !
He was a presence that radiated an amazing power - I was struck with astonishment , and I always paid attention to him ever since , as the years went by !

@matias1962 En Silver Train y Jumping Jack Flash toca Keith Richards el bajo. Keith es bastante basto tocando el bajo, pero en algunas canciones suena bien: JJF, Sympaty For the Devil, Pretty beat Up.... En otras canciones, Keith simplemente la caga: Casino Boogie, Soul Survivor, Live with Me, etc...
