SW Rebuild - Part 16 - Fish in the tank

Well here they are. Roughly two and a half months after the disaster claimed my other tank, I finally have life happening in the tank again. I really can't thank the youtube community enough for all the support, comments, conversations and tips you have provided me with during this process. I never expected this series to generate the interest that it has. That being said, this will be the last of the "SW Rebuild" series for a while. I don't think adding a fish here or a coral there really counts as a saltwater rebuild. I will do regular updates as I add new critters and as significant events occur. After all, I do need to keep rebuilding the live population since I did lose a couple critters along the way. Unfortunately, none of my coral survived their temporary home at my friend's place (Much thanks John!), but all things considered, it could have been much, much worse. Besides, I believe I have emerged on the other side with a much better setup and certainly a lot more knowledge. Thanks again everybody, it's been a blast! Feel free to keep the questions coming!

I just watched every single one of your videos and I must say that you're a great inspiration to aquaria beginners the world over. I love the approach to your videos and they really encouraged me to experiment with a marine set up myself. I've had a 115 gal fresh water set up for about 7 years because I was afraid of salt water woes. I'd like to thank you for your amazing videos.

GsKillz - that is the greatest compliment I could have possibly hoped for. That is EXACTLY why I did this video series. Thank you so much for your kind words. I had (have) a 45 gallon fresh water tank that I kept for a year and a half before I got up the courage to attempt saltwater. If you don't mind being patient and doing some weekly maintenance, it can be incredibly rewarding. Don't be afraid to try. If somebody as ignorant as myself can do it - ANYBODY can do it. Just look at gprime22 ;)

Hey tickle, good news , in honor of my crab and you, I just bought 3 green brain frags and a neon green blue trachy coral!!!! Plus 2 Monti's some zoo's a scroll coral, and 2 blue candycane corals!!!!!! All for 35 shipped I will do an update when it comes in the mail, and last week i Got a yellow tang!!!! He loves his 20l , and I will move him when he outgrows it. Thanks and merry Christmas !!!!!!

Better keep an eye on that cat. Mine does the same thing becuz he likes to go fishing in my filter cut outs and he leaves damn scratches when he slides down just like yours.
