Took me a while to appreciate some of the songs on Neon Ballroom and Diorama but there is some genious alt rock on those albums.

@maxarus My guess is, they got tired of playing the same stuff over and over. Anyone would. So they decided to change their style, invent, create/recreate.

Yeah... And a lot of the old stuff. I mean their old stuff that would fit perfectly with the Young Modern music style. They're still playing Israel's Son, but because is a song that never gets old.
But songs like Pop Song for us Rejects or The Closing... Are masterpieces.
