@TheVideodesk because Christopher Columbus thought he was in India when he arrived in the New World, and that name stuck for a while for some reason. I prefer calling them Native Americans.

What's with all the negativity. It's just a guy singing a Native American Church song. Nothing more.Thanks for posting the video. Very nice song. Been a member in the N.A.C for 40 yrs. I run across a lot of songs in my time and this is a good one. Ah ho !!!!
