Simulation and Concurrency ACW for my MSc at the University of Hull written in C/C++, GLSL, OpenGL, Winsock2 and Win32 Threading.
I implemented a physically based modeling demo using multi threading and networking, the illumination is per pixel.
The physics simulation includes particles dynamics with collision detection/response, cloth simulation with springs and dashpots.
The application consists of physics simulation, graphics, networking and a bitmap loader that continuously load images from the hard disk, each component runs on a different thread.
It is possible to connect clients to the server (where the physics simulation is done), for each client connected a new thread is created on the server that manages the connection, each client can send input and interact with the simulation.
