  • Don't you have to partition your drive if you don't have a secondary drive.

  • @jart122 no it installs in a folder,so its like this C:/ubuntu

  • @thegrindzone : I would like to see the other video you mention in this one, thanks.

  • @shadowsniper its not up i could upload it if you like

  • @thegrindzone Yes please, I would like to see that video. I have a question if you install ubuntu in a windows folder, would ubuntu work as an application instead of an operating system, I have been interested in trying linux but don't know much about it, thanks for the video.

    ....

i want to install it on d

  • @roflchopter37 nah mate, there in no such application as Nokia pc suite for Ubuntu :(

  • @roflchopter37 your talking about VM Ware or any other Virtual OS, yes thats not what i was looking for.. i was hoping for a legit dual boot so i can have windows and ubuntu running on the same system at once.

like having a CMD to Alt+Tab to the other operating system.

Either way im just using my laptop for ubuntu atm and desktop for win 7

  • @MrTuhinBagh there is an app store for all ubuntu apps (i think they are all free or most of them are)

  • @quipster671 no, but i think its how much memory you can use from within the OS e.g 20GB of hard drive space is only available with Ubuntu

  • @kevin989able yes, unless you partition it through the installation

  • @Sysinput yes what you are looking for is to run Ubuntu through the windows OS but you need to download another program to do so, i cant remember what its called but you are able to google it.

  • is there any way to Dual-boot both at same time, so i can use a hotkey to alt+tab to the other operating system.?

I want ubuntu running my server while im on my win7

  • If you place it in C: instead of F:, would it completely fuck up your memory? If you were running it on a laptop, with 111GB left there?

  • what would happen if i downloaded it on my normal drive, would it rremove windows 7 operating system, please answer.
