You did an excellent job of defining inflation and calculating a CPI, but you stopped short of demonstrating the inflation rate; which is the difference in the CPI year over year. By my calculations the IR between y2 & y1 is 15.6%; between y3 & y1 is 31.3% and between y3 & y2 is 13.5%. Is this correct?

Yeah, I didn't add the change in CPI calculations (think I did for my GDP tutorial, but I may not have). Without looking at my lesson again, if you used the formula y2-y1/y1 all times 100 (moving the decimal over) then you're probably right. Glad it helped. I may add another quick video on percentage changes in CPI or GDP, etc. If you need anything else, I've done some for regular econ and AP Macro as well. Thanks
