The "Dartflip" is a new drill developed at Davis High School to help athletes become more comfortable getting all the way back while vaulting. By the way the aforementioned is obviously a joke.. Backflips are just really fun to do!

  • I don't think that was developed at that school... haha. And have them swing their legs long like they would when they vault, instead of tucking into a ball...

  • yeah that will be great when they go to clear higher heights and do a back flip and break their necks

  • Greg Starkovich of Adams State College (CO) was doing that in 1971 (only it was faster and smoother). He went 16' 7 1/2" when the WR was just a little over 18.'

  • @Vaulterboy05 at a point in the vault you do tuck into a ball which does happen right after the swing but developed at davis high school did not happen thats a fact they just like taking credit for things they didn''t do.
